for any business losses, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or
loss or corruption of information or data.

This website functions as a venue that provides a space and method for communication. Provider advises and encourages Users to use their own discretion when sharing personal information. While efforts are made to encourage confidentiality between users, ED LIFE COACH is not liable for users’ activities.

User understands that coaching possesses both benefits and risks. Risks may include—but are not limited to—experiencing feelings such as stress, sadness, guilt, and frustration. In addition, User may not agree with a life coach’s assessment, perspective, or strategies. User understands disagreement does not constitute a refund of provider’s fees. Benefits of coaching can be profound and may include improved mood, resolved personal problems, improved/healed relationships with others, better self-image/self-esteem, and improved mental or behavioural functioning.

Benefits to phone and online coaching may be comparable to those in traditional face-to-face sessions—the building of a life coach-client alliance designed to assist a client in his/her personal growth, life issues. However, with use of verbal only or text only methods, a coach may be limited in that he/she is unable to take into account the visual or non-verbal cues of a client. Much of the research in regards to the efficacy of distance methods for coaching is pending. A client should weigh the benefits against the limitations of services before consenting to the coaching process.

Limits of confidentiality differ from state to state, province to province. However, by policy of ED LIFE COACH, coaches are to abide by the laws of their practicing states and/or provinces in regards to reporting any necessary information. This may include the circumstance of a User, deemed to be serious threat to himself/herself or others, being reported to legal authorities or local social services. It is also law in many states and/or provinces that any disclosure of child abuse, abuse of a handicapped person, or abuse of an elderly person must be reported immediately to appropriate authorities.

Because of the use of technology in coaching, and the use of electronic record keeping, there exists the possibility of the loss of confidentiality by means of security breach. Administration of ED LIFE COACH agrees to keep all user information in confidence to the greatest extent of the law, including payment information, records, and contact information.

These limitations of liability apply even if ED LIFE COACH has been expressly advised of the potential loss.

Price and Payment
The price of any of our Events will be as quoted in our collateral and on our Website. Prices listed are inclusive of HST at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
You may pay for your booking online by credit card or Paypal. You need to register to the event you want to attend and provide all required information in the registration form before you make the payment.
Payment shall be due strictly at the time of registration. If you need your invoice issued before registration, please email ed@edwadie.com and will send you an invoice by email.
Your ticket can serve as your payment receipt if you have purchased one.

DO NOT PROCEED WITH ONLINE PAYMENT IF YOU DISAGREE WITH TERMS & CONDITIONS, PAYMENTS ONCE DONE CAN NOT BE REVERSED.

Special Offers
We reserve the right, from time to time, to run special promotional offers on events. Special Offers may include, but are not limited to, price promotions. In the event of a Special Offer, additional terms and conditions may apply which will be made available at the time of booking.
Any places booked at an Event prior to the Special Offer will not be offered the promotion retrospectively.

Whether you purchased a ticket or made online booking you need to complete event registration form available on line at www.edwadie.com 10 days before the event

Joining Instructions
You will receive joining instructions by email (you should have a valid email address) confirming timings and venues once your booking has been processed. If you have not received this one week prior to the event please contact us. Prior to contacting us, please ensure you have checked your email inbox as well as your spam and junkmail, just in case the joining instructions have been sent to these inboxes by your email client. 

Course/Event Content
We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings and/or speakers if one of the advertised speakers is unable to attend. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel your place.

Course/Event Venue
Our Events are held at a number of venues. You acknowledge that we may have to change the published venue for the event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you.
You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to our premises or that of the external venue and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behavior and conduct) that may be in place at any venue from time to time.
if you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, or specific dietary requirements, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.

Certificates
Certificate awarded upon completion of the full duration of the Course, will be either emailed or handed to you at the time of completion.

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy
All events sales are final and not subject of any refund.

Monthly subscription can be cancelled on 30 days notice by email to admin@edwadie.com

Rights in Materials
All copyright and other rights (including all intellectual property rights) in materials provided to you during or for the purposes of any of our Events (including, without limitation, course notes, slides, brochures, articles or case studies) are the property of the ED LIFE COACH or of our speakers. You are entitled to use such materials only for your own personal use. You are not entitled to copy such materials (except as permitted by law) nor are you entitled to use or authorize others to use such materials for any commercial purposes.

Images
We often take photographs and videotape the events for marketing purposes. By attending an event, you are giving us permission to use images in which you may be present. In addition, these images may be shared and stored on third-party platforms. Should you not wish to appear in any images, please notify the photographer at the event.

Our Liability
Event attendees shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises or at external venues save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses.

Events Outside Our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").  A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

• Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
  
• Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
  
• Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
  
• Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
  
• Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; and
  
• The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
  

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

Reasonableness

By using this website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this website disclaimer are reasonable.

If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this website.

Breaches of these terms and conditions

Without prejudice to ED LIFE COACH other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, ED LIFE COACH may take such action as is deemed appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with CANADIAN GOVERNING LAW, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
